Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JohnAmund Skaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Skaar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Number of the Beast. Paul Harris has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with JohnAmund Skaar's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skaar has his takedown stuffed

and Harris counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Harris is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Harris is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harris moves nicely into side control.

Harris is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Skaar defends it well.
Skaar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harris on the ground.
Harris is pressing down on Skaar's thigh, looking to free his foot. Skaar is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harris is looking for a kimura but Skaar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Harris to get the leverage.

Skaar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Harris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

JohnAmund Skaar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Harris has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Skaar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Harris goes for an armbar but Skaar turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Skaar.
Harris has momentary wrist control but Skaar slips an elbow through the middle.

Skaar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Skaar wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Paul Harris's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paul Harris's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
