The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahayev misses with a lunging right hand
and Ramos counters with a solid body kick.
Ramos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mahayev throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mahayev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Alexey Mahayev has been cut.
Ramos takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Mahayev checks a low kick from Ramos.
Ramos misses with a low kick as Mahayev jumps back.
A jab from Mahayev misses.
Mahayev with a body punch. A glancing blow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mahayev missing with a left hand there. Ramos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ramos looks for the body kick but Mahayev saw that one coming.
Mahayev on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Mahayev takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ramos tries to land a front kick but Mahayev steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ramos lunges at Mahayev with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mahayev's hand.

Ramos turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mahayev looks gassed!
Ramos thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mahayev if he has to take too many more of those.
Ramos lands with a thumping leg kick.

Mahayev tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Good leg kick by Ramos there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ramos fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mahayev.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ramos. That's going to slow Mahayev down.
Mahayev looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ramos with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ramos connects with a solid leg kick.
Ramos throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ramos throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Mahayev crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
