Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKinley connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
McKinley misses with a jab to the body
and Gillis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice uppercut there from McKinley.
A head kick misses from McKinley.
A bone on bone clash there as Gillis blocks the leg kick.
Gillis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McKinley connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gillis's hands.
Gillis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McKinley tries to avoid it but Gillis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McKinley to the ground. McKinley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gillis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McKinley throws out the jab.

McKinley tests Gillis's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Gillis shoots in looking for a takedown. McKinley tries to sprawl out of it but Gillis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McKinley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jamie Gillis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gillis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McKinley avoids it really well and circles away.
A solid leg kick lands there for McKinley.

Gillis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McKinley defends it nicely.
McKinley fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gillis is out of range.
Gillis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McKinley.
McKinley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gillis.
Gillis shoots in looking for a takedown but McKinley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gillis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fighters circling - McKinley throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McKinley throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
McKinley misses with a right hand

and Gillis counters with a shoot takedown. McKinley fights it but they end up in guard.
McKinley is looking to stand up but Gillis isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gillis is looking to work some ground and pound but McKinley has wrist control.

Gillis looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but McKinley is defending well. Gillis quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! McKinley has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gillis celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
