Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Slider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Robson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathan Robson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. William Slider has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Slider!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Robson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Robson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Some wild striking there from Slider.
Slider scores to the head and body with a nice combination!


It looks like Nathan Robson has been cut.
Robson misses with a few strikes there.
Robson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A cross from Slider lands.
Slider waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Robson. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Robson to the canvas! Can he finish him!?


Robson is rocked!
Slider controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Robson is still in real trouble! Can Slider finish him?
Slider wants to control from the top but Robson keeps moving.
Slider really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Robson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Slider has passed into side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Slider wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robson keeps working.
Robson is trying to improve his position.

Slider is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Robson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The referee stands the fighters back up. William Slider just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Slider smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Slider connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Robson tumbling to the canvas! Slider pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Robson was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). William Slider!
