The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greywar's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Partner connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Greywar scrambles back to his feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greywar can do anything to dispel that myth.

Greywar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Partner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Greywar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Partner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Partner is stalling here but it's allowed Greywar to get half guard.

Sparring Partner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
