Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wofi Nazarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wofi Nazarus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nazarus did well to prevent Silva getting side control.
Well, if Silva is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silva prevents Nazarus from improving his position.
Silva controlling the action here.
Silva gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Nazarus scores with a kick to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Nazarus.
Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nazarus to the mat! Nazarus manages to get full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nazarus looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Silva controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Nazarus working for a triangle but Silva defends it easily.
Nazarus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Nazarus wants to sweep but no luck.
Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Silva is staying tight to Nazarus's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Silva takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Nazarus connects with a good right hand that stumbles Silva. Silva circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nazarus throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Silva shoots and misses
and Nazarus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Nazarus, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Nazarus against the cage but Nazarus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wofi Nazarus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Silva.
Silva looks gassed!
Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Silva takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nazarus gets caught napping as Silva dives in and scores a takedown. Nazarus manages to retain guard.
Nazarus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nazarus is trying to keep Silva in close.
Nazarus is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.
Nazarus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there.
Silva slips nicely into half guard.
Silva seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Nazarus is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
