Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lukks Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rodriguez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fedor.

Fedor could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fedor has hold of Rodriguez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rodriguez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Fedor is looking for a sweep. Rodriguez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Rodriguez is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Fedor gets his way!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rodriguez is looking for a triangle but Fedor pushes his legs off easily.

Lukks Fedor overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fedor decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Rodriguez tries to clinch there but Fedor circles away.

Fedor drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Fedor stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Fedor shoots for a takedown but Rodriguez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fedor fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rodriguez, pushing him back against the cage.

Rodriguez swings for the body but Fedor moves out of range.

Fedor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodriguez tries to avoid it but Fedor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodriguez to the ground. Rodriguez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
