Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonas Galdikas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Robbins!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galdikas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Robbins scores with a jab to the jaw.
Galdikas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Galdikas misses the shot to the body.
Galdikas misses with a hook.
Robbins connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Robbins fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A big right from Robbins misses.
Galdikas drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Robbins misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Galdikas.
Robbins jabs Galdikas to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Galdikas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Robbins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Galdikas sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Galdikas takes a swing at Robbins's ribcage but misses.
Robbins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Galdikas circles away quickly and effectively.
Galdikas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robbins as he jumps to the side.
Robbins waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Galdikas.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Galdikas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Robbins.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Robbins throws a hook but Galdikas blocks it.
Robbins throws a hook to the side of Galdikas's head but Galdikas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Robbins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Galdikas was well out of range. Poor timing from Robbins.

Galdikas drives through with a takedown into guard.
Robbins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Galdikas manages to get himself to full guard.
Robbins wants to stand but Galdikas is controlling his posture from full guard.

Robbins wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Galdikas's closed guard. He's half up but Galdikas has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Galdikas pivots and extends the arm, Robbins falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Galdikas! Well done that man!
