The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. William looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Souza looking to control but instead William has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
William gets back to full guard.
Souza chips away with some ground and pound.
Souza must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Souza postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Souza accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
William looking for a sweep. Not yet William, not yet.

William has got one arm under Souza's chin. This could be trouble... Souza trying to control the other hand but William gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Souza has tapped out! The fight is over!
