The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Obrien.

Obrien fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Obrien throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it.
Obrien shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.
Obrien keeps the fight on the outside.

Obrien tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.
Obrien jumps guard but Jones stands there with Obrien around his waist. Obrien gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lincoln Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Obrien.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Obrien tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jones pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Obrien back to the ropes. Jones follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Jones dives in and grabs Obrien's left leg, looking for a takedown. Obrien pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Obrien swats him away and circles back towards the center.
