Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Webster is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Guns N' Roses - Dead Horse. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horrible takedown by Mendez or perhaps it was just good defense by Webster which made him look bad.

Webster wants to clinch up but Mendez keeps it at a distance.
Webster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Webster feints and then cracks Mendez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mendez down.

Webster tries to kick Mendez off but Mendez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mendez connects with a nice short shot to Webster's temple.

Webster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mendez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
