Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michal Bicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane MacLain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bicki's entrance music is Entrance. A fine choice. MacLain has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacLain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bicki sprawls well. Bicki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. MacLain gets slowly back to his feet.

MacLain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
MacLain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bicki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
MacLain seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Bicki controls MacLain momentarily but MacLain frees himself.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

You get the feeling that Bicki really doesn't like being in this position too much.
MacLain prevents Bicki from getting the reversal.

MacLain stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

MacLain closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - MacLain lands in his opponent's guard.
MacLain slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bicki is not content to let MacLain control the position.

Bicki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
MacLain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Michal Bicki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane MacLain.
