Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Vazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Tremblay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hector Vazquez looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hector Vazquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Tremblay!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vazquez rushes Tremblay and presses him up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Vazquez - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Vazquez has Tremblay pressed against the cage, preventing Tremblay from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Vazquez closes the distance and clinches up with Tremblay, looking for a takedown. Vazquez pushes Tremblay against the cage but Tremblay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tremblay throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vazquez's waist but Vazquez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tremblay off to one side.

Tremblay shoots in looking for a takedown. Vazquez tries to sprawl out of it but Tremblay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vazquez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tremblay.

Vazquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tremblay shoots in for a double leg but Vazquez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Tremblay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
