Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hajime Bucket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karel Gil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bucket comes to the cage accompanied by Wait -- Earshot. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gil's choice of entrance music: Papa Roach - Last Resort. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hajime Bucket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Karel Gil!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gil chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gil misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bucket moves out of range of the leg kick from Gil.
Bucket feints and as Gil raises his hands in defense, Bucket changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gil working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bucket doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bucket manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gil looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bucket is one step ahead there.
Bucket throws a big right hand that misses.
Gil tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bucket working some strikes from top position.
Gil had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bucket defends it easily.
Gil keeping moving, preventing Bucket from controlling successfully.

Gil looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Bucket trying to control but Gil is working from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bucket's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bucket throwing strikes from guard but Gil blocks nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gil is on top in guard.
Gil throws and elbow that misses. Bucket uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gil's guard. Nice move by Bucket!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gil controls Bucket momentarily but Bucket frees himself.
Gil keeping moving, preventing Bucket from controlling successfully.
Gil looking for subs off his back but Bucket has passed one foot through into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bucket drops an elbow to the side of Gil's head.
Gil moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bucket wants to pass the guard but Gil is keeping the position.
Bucket got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gil has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bucket has managed to get both his arms back between Gil's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bucket pushes down on Gil's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Gil is in trouble now - Bucket has advanced to mount!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Gil tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bucket lands a big elbow.
Gil can't escape the position.
Gil is bucking up trying to escape but Bucket cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bucket tries to control but Gil wriggling away.
Gil is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gil looks gassed!
Bucket raining down hammerfists from mount.
Gil is working to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bucket lands with some strikes.
Bucket punishing his opponent with strikes.
Bucket is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gil can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hajime Bucket dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bucket shoots in for a takedown but Gil shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bucket avoids the body shot from Gil.
Karel Gil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bucket has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gil.
A jab from Gil misses.
Bucket smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bucket has his takedown stuffed
and Gil counters with a nice leg kick.
Bucket scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Gil swings for the body but Bucket moves out of range.
Gil fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bucket manages to avoid it.
Gil dives in and grabs Bucket's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bucket pushes down on Gil's head and hops out.

Bucket throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Gil chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gil is breathing heavily.

Gil swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A left lands for Bucket.
Gil misses with a low kick.
Bucket dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A cross from Bucket lands.
Gil is rocked!
Good shot there by Bucket.
Gil is still on wobbly legs! Can Bucket finish him?
Bucket finds Gil's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Gil flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Bucket lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Gil will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hajime Bucket!
