The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernados shoots in and drives through. Hautz sprawls well.
Hautz misses with a kick to the body.
Hautz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Hautz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bernados's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bernados wants to get back to his feet but Hautz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hautz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hautz trying to control the position from guard on top but Bernados is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hautz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hautz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
