The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn shoots for a takedown but Paige saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Paige swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Stan Paige seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunn closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Paige bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gunn's head backwards.
It looks like Dave Gunn has been cut.
Paige lunges at Gunn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gunn's hand.

Paige is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gunn.

Paige might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gunn. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Paige lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Paige lands a left and a right that send Gunn crashing to the mat, dazed. Paige thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dave Gunn's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
