Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Cahill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trace Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cahill comes to the cage accompanied by Bringing it Back. Bradley has chosen Beautiful Music For You to Die Too-Necro as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Cahill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trace Bradley!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cahill connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Cahill fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bradley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cahill misses with the combination.
Bradley throws a right hand that Cahill ducks under and follows up with a left that Cahill also avoids with ease.
Cahill rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bradley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cahill connects with a leg kick. Bradley looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Cahill.
Cahill with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Cahill keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cahill misses with a straight right.
Cahill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Cahill moves away from the strike by Bradley.
Bradley misses with an uppercut. Cahill saw that one coming.

Bradley on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Cahill's corner calls for a 1-2. Cahill obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bradley takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cahill feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bradley's calf.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bradley bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bradley avoids the head kick by Cahill.
Bradley motions for Cahill to come forward. Bradley throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Cahill digs a good hook to Bradley's body.

Bradley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cahill looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bradley takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bradley throws the left hand but Cahill avoids the punch easily.

and Bradley counters with a stiff right hand.

Cahill pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bradley checks a low kick from Cahill.
Cahill connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Bradley swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cahill slips under a jab.
Cahill looks to land a left hand but Bradley moved out of range nicely.
A solid leg kick lands there for Cahill.
Bradley might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bradley lands with a cross.
Cahill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bradley moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Good leg kick by Cahill there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cahill connects with a solid leg kick.
Cahill swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Bradley might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Cahill has got the better of the exchanges.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cahill throws the kick towards the body but Bradley avoids it.
Bradley takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Bradley lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bradley misses with a hook. Cahill ducked under it nicely.

Cahill throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bradley crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cahill - the referee stops the clock and Bradley gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cahill. Bradley manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cahill is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bradley can do to turn this around?

Cahill scores with a hook to the body. Bradley takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cahill throws a front kick that sends Bradley stumbling back into the cage.
Bradley seems to have recovered his senses.
Cahill lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bradley at a distance.
Cahill cracks Bradley on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bradley falls backwards against the cage. Cahill follows up with more strikes that drop Bradley to his knees. Cahill keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bradley! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Cahill!
