Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Catdad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Manny Pacquiao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Douglas Catdad!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacquiao tries to close the distance and clinch up but Catdad swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Catdad counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Catdad feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Douglas Catdad showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Manny Pacquiao.
Well Catdad has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
