We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Max Rushden.

Rushden shoots in and drives through. Bitch sprawls well.

Rushden shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bitch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bitch takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

We're going to have a standup here because Max Rushden wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Rushden dives in and grabs Bitch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bitch pushes down on Rushden's head and hops out.

Rushden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bitch tries to avoid it but Rushden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bitch to the ground. Bitch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ben Bitch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Rushden moves into the clinch.
Rushden has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bitch is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Rushden jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bitch walks away with a smile on his face. Rushden gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rushden throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
