Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uolevi Kaipainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anti Midas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaipainen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fredi - Puhu hiljaa rakkaudesta. The crowd seem to be enjoying Midas's choice of entrance music: CunninLynguists - Hellfire . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Kaipainen.

It looks like Anti Midas has been cut.
Midas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kaipainen on the side of the head.
Kaipainen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Midas.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kaipainen tries to stand but Midas is controlling from the bottom.

Midas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kaipainen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kaipainen wants to stand but Midas has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kaipainen wants to get up but he can't break Midas's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Midas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kaipainen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kaipainen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Midas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kaipainen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kaipainen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Midas is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kaipainen is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Midas.
A combination from Kaipainen does no damage.

That has opened up Anti Midas's cut even more.
