Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Kravvchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gage Ruehlen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Gage Ruehlen enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nikolai Kravvchenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gage Ruehlen!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruehlen tries to clinch but Kravvchenko moves out of range.
Ruehlen is looking to clinch but Kravvchenko is avoiding it.
Ruehlen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kravvchenko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kravvchenko scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kravvchenko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ruehlen.

Kravvchenko is looking to wear down Ruehlen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Kravvchenko comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ruehlen tries to clinch up but Kravvchenko circles away and keeps his distance.

Ruehlen tries to close the distance and clinch but Kravvchenko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nikolai Kravvchenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ruehlen tries to clinch up but Kravvchenko circles away and keeps his distance.

Ruehlen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kravvchenko as he jumps to the side.

Ruehlen is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kravvchenko is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Ruehlen.

Ruehlen throws out a loose jab but Kravvchenko uses good head movement to avoid it.

Ruehlen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kravvchenko's half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kravvchenko is refusing to be controlled, as Ruehlen sits in half guard.
Kravvchenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ruehlen on the ground.

Ruehlen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kravvchenko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ruehlen.
Ruehlen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kravvchenko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ruehlen is thwarting Kravvchenko's attempts to control the position.

Ruehlen is working for a kimura but Kravvchenko is defending it quite comfortably.

Ruehlen has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kravvchenko defend it? Ruehlen steps over the head and cranks it - Kravvchenko is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ruehlen!
