Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gesasi Mougard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle McDougall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDougall lands with a nice combination. Mougard backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Gesasi Mougard has been cut.
McDougall slaps away a takedown attempt from Mougard, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mougard swings away with a leg kick that misses.

McDougall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mougard circles away quickly and effectively.

Mougard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McDougall was well out of range. Poor timing from Mougard.
Mougard shoots in looking for a takedown but McDougall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mougard's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mougard. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
McDougall tries to bum rush Mougard with a series of wild strikes but Mougard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mougard shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McDougall but McDougall pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and McDougall counters with a left and a right that stings Mougard.

McDougall punishes Mougard's body with a nice straight punch.
McDougall stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kyle McDougall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDougall connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mougard has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

McDougall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mougard gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McDougall.
McDougall lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
McDougall thuds a left hand into Mougard's body.
McDougall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mougard moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McDougall scores with a one two! Mougard had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Gesasi Mougard's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

McDougall scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mougard has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mougard there as he acknowledges the shot.
McDougall lands a body shot.
McDougall cracks Mougard with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
McDougall lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Jeez, Gesasi Mougard's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
