PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brooks Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morgan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Black Snake Moan. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Banner's calf.
Banner shoots in but no luck this time.
Morgan keeps the fight on the outside.
Banner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Morgan sprawls well. Morgan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Banner gets slowly back to his feet.
A head kick from Morgan lands but Banner takes it in his stride.
Brooks Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Banner gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Banner just leaning against Morgan, taking a breather.
Morgan missing with knees to the body.
Morgan stops a takedown attempt from Banner.
Ronnie Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brooks Banner.
Morgan is looking to control Banner's arms but Banner gets an underhook and turns him. Now Morgan has his back to the cage.

Morgan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Morgan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Morgan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Banner.

Banner looks gassed!

Morgan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Banner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Banner shoots for a takedown but Morgan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Morgan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Banner's head.

Banner is rocked!
Morgan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Banner will feel that in the morning.
Banner is still on wobbly legs! Can Morgan finish him?

Morgan circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Banner to the canvas! Banner doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Morgan keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
