Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garman moves into the clinch.
Garman pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bass postures up in Garman's guard and throws a big left but Garman blocks it.
Bass with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bass throwing strikes but missing.
Bass in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Garman utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bass wanted to stand there but Garman had control of the position.
Bass postures up in Garman's guard and throws a big left but Garman blocks it.
Garman controls Bass momentarily but Bass frees himself.
Bass lands a couple of elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bass keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Garman's head.
Bass drops back looking for a leg! Garman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Garman manages to kick Bass off! Bass jumps back into Garman's guard.
Garman is pulling down on Bass's head. It's preventing any offense from Bass, at least for the moment.
Bass has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bass accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bass with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Bass keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Garman's head.

Bass pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Garman is keeping the position for now.
Bass with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bass throws and elbow that misses. Garman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bass's guard. Nice move by Garman!
Bass not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bass is pulling down on Garman's head to control his posture.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Lance Bass hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Garman clinches.

Garman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Garman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Garman is pulling down on Bass's head. It's preventing any offense from Bass, at least for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bass missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Garman keeping moving, preventing Bass from controlling successfully.
Garman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ashley Garman.
Garman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bass was covering up waiting for the punch and Garman finishes the takedown easily into guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lance Bass dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bass fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Garman slaps away a takedown attempt from Bass, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Garman moves into the clinch.

Garman gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bass.
Ashley Garman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Bass.
Garman tries to circle away but Bass has him pinned against the cage.
Garman lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Garman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Lance Bass has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bass is looking to improve his position.
Bass is pressing down on Garman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Bass wants to sweep here but Garman controlling him for the moment.
Garman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ashley Garman.
Garman shoots in and bounces Bass off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Garman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ashley Garman just wasn't active enough.
Garman darts in and clinches Bass up against the cage.
Garman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Garman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Garman prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bass wants the takedown. Garman is fighting it off but Bass persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Garman's guard against the cage.
Garman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Garman looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bass passes into side control.
Garman taking punishment in the form of punches.
It looks like Ashley Garman has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bass working the strikes but Garman uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ashley Garman will probably get the nod.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Bass shoots in looking for a takedown. Garman tries to sprawl out of it but Bass keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Garman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bass is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Garman sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bass is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bass is not content to let Garman control the position.
Bass tries to buck Garman off but Garman is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Bass's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ashley Garman wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Garman drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bass is pulling down on Garman's head. It's preventing any offense from Garman, at least for the moment.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Garman chopping away at his opponent's legs.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bass closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Garman has hold of one of Bass's legs. Bass is fighting the takedown attempt but Garman gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Garman is stalling in the full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ashley Garman.
Bass shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Garman as he avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight!
Ashley Garman showed his dominance in that final round.
