Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Gronholm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gronholm's entrance music is Eeppinen biisi. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gronholm avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gronholm fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That kick from Gronholm tenderised Piper's leg. Piper is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gronholm fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gronholm tries to bum rush Piper with a series of wild strikes but Piper uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gronholm misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gronholm throws a series of punches but Piper avoids them all with ease.
A punch combination from Gronholm misses.
Piper avoids a punch combination nicely.
Piper slips a jab and a cross from Gronholm.
Piper tries to land a front kick but Gronholm steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Piper scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Piper fails with the takedown.
Gronholm misses with a wild body shot.
Piper takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Peter Piper has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Piper misses with a body shot.
Piper closes the distance and clinches up with Gronholm, looking for a takedown. Piper pushes Gronholm against the cage but Gronholm circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gronholm swings for the body but Piper moves out of range.
Gronholm jabs Piper to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Piper looks gassed!
Gronholm connects with a body shot.
Gronholm getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gronholm swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gronholm lands a jab-cross combination.
Gronholm throws a nice looking combination but Piper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Piper fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Marcus Gronholm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Piper.
Gronholm lands a left and a right that send Piper crashing to the mat, dazed. Gronholm thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Piper is rocked!
Whack! Gronholm lands a heavy head kick that drops Piper. The ref tackles Gronholm to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Piper was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Marcus Gronholm!
