Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop scores with a crisp jab that stopped Williams in his tracks.
Williams takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.


It looks like Steve Williams has been cut.
A shot to the liver by Bishop. Beautiful body shot.
Bishop lands a jab to the nose.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bishop swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bishop throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease.
An inside leg kick from Bishop misses.
Williams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bishop is looking to clinch.
Some wild striking there from Williams.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bishop keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sloppy strikes from Bishop. Those never looked like landing.
Bishop throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Williams misses with a wild combination.

Bishop tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bishop fails with a takedown attempt.
Bishop throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bishop feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Williamss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bishop walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Williams checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bishop throws a series of punches but Williams moves out of range.
Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bishop smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bishop scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Williams tries to clinch up.
Bishop takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bishop misses with a head kick.
Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Bishop's shoulder, as Bishop tries to avoid the shot.
Williams is looking to clinch but Bishop is avoiding it.
Bishop swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Williams has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bishop finds it's way round the side to connect with Williams's head.
Williams lands with a slapping head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bishop feints a jab promting Williams to slip. Bishop then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Williams slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bishop lands a jab to Williams's midsection.
Bishop throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Some wild striking there from Bishop.
Bishop scores with a jab. Williams acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Williams walks into a left hand.
Bishop dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Williams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bishop.
Shane Bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bishop tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Williams counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Williams stalling in the clinch.

Williams is struggling to control the position.
Williams lands a nice elbow.
Williams tries a knee to the head but Bishop blocks it.
Williams blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Bishop wants to break free but Williams has control.
Bishop is trying to break the clinch but Williams has him pressed against the cage.
Bishop has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Williams will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bishop up against the cage.

Williams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bishop throws a leg kick that is checked

and Williams counters by moving into the clinch.
Williams tries a knee to the head but Bishop blocks it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bishop is trying to break the clinch but Williams has him pressed against the cage.
Williams trying to stall but Bishop improves his position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bishop has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Williams has Bishop pressed against the cage, preventing Bishop from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Williams landing knees to the body.

Williams breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane Bishop dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Steve Williams's cut.
That's time! Williams's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bishop paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bishop cracks a nice hook into Williams's ribs.
Bishop connects with a single shot there.
Bishop lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bishop fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Williams looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bishop connects with a body shot that sends Williams's belly button to the back.
Bishop has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bishop drops Williams with a beautiful combination! Williams stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bishop is looking for the KO!


Williams is rocked!
Bishop wants to clinch but Williams slips to the side
and Williams counters with a three punch combo that has Bishop backing up. Bishop nods at Williams to acknowledge the strikes.
Oh Williams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bishop tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Williams manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bishop throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Williams colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Bishop as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Williams is left battered and dazed whilst Bishop and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane Bishop!
