Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeo Anangus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eves Deuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zeo Anangus had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zeo Anangus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eves Deuda!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anangus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Anangus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Deuda avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Anangus throws a nice looking combination but Deuda bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Deuda shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Deuda escapes and gets back to his feet.
Anangus throws the left hand but Deuda avoids the punch easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Deuda closes the distance and clinches up with Anangus, looking for a takedown. Deuda pushes Anangus against the cage but Anangus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Anangus shoots in for a takedown but Deuda shows good takedown defense.

and Deuda counters with a nice double leg into side control. Anangus won't be happy with that.
You can see the frustration on Anangus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Deuda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Deuda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Deuda throws an elbow but Anangus slips to the side and avoids it well.
Deuda has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Anangus!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anangus is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Deuda has taken his back!

Anangus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Deuda manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Anangus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
