Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Escobar wants it to stay on the feet.
Escobar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pain with a lazy takedown attempt
and Escobar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Pain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pain throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Escobar's waist but Escobar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pain off to one side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pain is defended easily by Escobar.
Mike Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Escobar dips a shoulder and cracks Pain with a mighty uppercut! Pain falls back against the cage and Escobar unloads with a barrage of strikes! Pain is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Escobar screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
