Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royston McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald has chosen Nicole - By Ash as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Silva misses.
Silva swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting McDonald counter with a right hand.
Silva shoots for a takedown but McDonald saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McDonald lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
McDonald blocks a jab.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
McDonald lands a glancing blow to the side of Silva's head.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McDonald tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McDonald to the ground. McDonald escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tiago Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McDonald darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McDonald.

Silva tries to clinch up but McDonald pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Silva to the mat! Silva covers up and McDonald unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
