Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Selenius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Madden Averick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Averick has chosen Undead as his entrance music. Peter Selenius is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Madden Averick!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Selenius drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Averick seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Selenius stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Averick swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Selenius tries to stand but Averick is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Averick has control of Selenius's left arm, preventing Selenius from doing any damage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Madden Averick hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Selenius feints and as Averick raises his hands in defense, Selenius changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Selenius wants to pass the guard but Averick is keeping the position.
Selenius throws a strike but Averick rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Selenius lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Averick!
Averick is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Selenius postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Averick looks a forlorn figure.
Selenius throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Averick because Selenius loaded up on that one.
Averick is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Selenius wants to control but Averick has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
Selenius trying to control from half guard but Averick is working away.

Selenius thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Averick's head.
Selenius is keen to just control but Averick is a slippery customer.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Averick has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Selenius. Oh but Averick has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Selenius goes limp - he's gone! Averick jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
