Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aychtoo Sushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machi Machiko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machiko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sushi.
Machiko lands with a shot to the body.
Machiko throws a sloppy head kick and Sushi moves out of range easily.
Sushi throws an off balance right hand
and Machiko counters with a good, hard body kick but Sushi shrugs it off.
Machiko scores with a shot to the body.
Sushi misses the jab.
Jab, jab by Machiko - just one landing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sushi shoots for a double leg takedown but Machiko sprawls well. He's pushed Sushi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A lazy left from Machiko finds it's target.
Sushi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Machiko.

Machiko forces Sushi back against the cage and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Machiko creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Machiko fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Machiko throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sushi blocks it with crossed arms.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Machiko misses with a knee to the head.
Machiko lands with a right to the head.

Sushi is rocked!
Machiko lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sushi backwards.
Oh Sushi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Machiko misses with the head strike.
Machiko has Sushi pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Sushi is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Machiko - that's hurt Sushi badly! Oh, another knee lands and Sushi is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Sushi doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Machi Machiko!
