Quincy comes to the cage accompanied by Requiem for a Dream. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy shoots for a takedown but McNamara saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Quincy slaps away a takedown attempt from McNamara, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McNamara has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Quincy finds it's way round the side to connect with McNamara's head.

Quincy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Quincy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Quincy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Quincy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McNamara is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Quincy wants to pass the guard but McNamara is defending well.

Quincy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can McNamara defend it? Quincy steps over the head and cranks it - McNamara is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Quincy!
