And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grissom misses with the combination.

Jayhawk clinches up with Grissom and pushes him back against the cage.
Grissom stalling in the clinch but Jayhawk improves position.

Jayhawk turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jayhawk manages to end up in side control.

Jayhawk decides to stand up, so the ref orders Grissom to his feet.
Grissom takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Grissom tries a head kick but it misses.
Grissom misses with a double jab.

Jayhawk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Jayhawk working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Grissom looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Jayhawk! Submission of the night perhaps?
