PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mandy Brandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandy comes to the cage accompanied by Protect ya neck. Dallas has chosen Ace of Spades as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mandy Brandy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Dallas!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandy misses with a series of wild punches.
A bone on bone clash there as Brandy blocks the leg kick.
Brandy lands a really nice looking cross but Dallas seems unphased.

It looks like Dan Dallas has been cut.
Brandy clobbers Dallas with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dallas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Brandy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dallas on his heels. He'll look to pass Dallas's guard now, I'm sure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Brandy gets to his feet. Dallas looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Dallas on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dallas.
Dallas on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dallas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Brandy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Brandy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dallas is looking to regain half guard here but Brandy keeps moving and retains side control.

The strikes coming from Brandy are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dallas gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Brandy throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That has opened up Dan Dallas's cut even more.
Brandy tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brandy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The cut above Dan Dallas's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Brandy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Dan Dallas's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dan Dallas's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
