Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tairy Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tairy Greene!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevenson feints and as Greene raises his hands in defense, Stevenson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Greene looking to control.
Greene looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Greene keeping moving, preventing Stevenson from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greene bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stevenson's guard.
Greene missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Stevenson is looking for a triangle but Greene pushes his legs off easily.
Greene chips away with some ground and pound.
Greene slips nicely into half guard.

Greene is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stevenson is just riding it out for now. Greene eventually gives up the hold.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Greene wants to pass the guard but Stevenson is keeping the position.
Stevenson is trying to control the position but Greene postures up.

Stevenson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Greene is aware though and is defending well.
Stevenson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Greene got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stevenson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Greene has managed to get both his arms back between Stevenson's legs - danger averted.

Stevenson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greene can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Greene keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stevenson's head.

Stevenson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Greene defends it easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Greene landing with the ground and pound.
Greene pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stevenson is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Greene is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Greene lands a couple of elbows.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Greene makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Stevenson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Greene throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Stevenson's body to avoid the submission. Stevenson has instead reached around Greene's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Stevenson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
