Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radu Vrabiuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vrabiuta has chosen Led Zeppelin - When The Levee Breaks as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jose Pinto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto tries for a takedown but Vrabiuta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pinto avoids the head kick by Vrabiuta.
Vrabiuta lands with a slapping head kick.
Vrabiuta throws the kick towards the body but Pinto avoids it.
Vrabiuta connects with a jab.
Pinto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vrabiuta swivels and escapes.

Vrabiuta feints and then cracks Pinto's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pinto down.

Nice takedown defense from Vrabiuta. No joy for Pinto on that attempt.

Good leg kick by Vrabiuta there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Vrabiuta tries to bum rush Pinto with a series of wild strikes but Pinto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pinto doesn't manage to clinch there - Vrabiuta circles away.

Pinto takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Pinto shoots in for a double leg but Vrabiuta sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pinto. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A left lands for Vrabiuta.
Vrabiuta thuds his shin into the meat of Pinto's side.

Pinto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Pinto feints and as Vrabiuta raises his hands in defense, Pinto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pinto slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
