Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gob Bluthe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bluthe shoots in and drives through. Jordan sprawls well.
Bluthe looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Jordan counters by clinching up.
Jordan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bluthe up against the cage.

Jordan is pushing Bluthe up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Jordan is pressed up against the cage. Bluthe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jordan down to the mat. Jordan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
