Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Fertit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tommy Gunn!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Fertit misses.
Gunn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fertit pinned against the cage. Fertit gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fertit stuffs the takedown attempt from Gunn. Gunn gets slowly back to his feet.
Fertit looks to land a combination but Gunn avoids it well.
Fertit misses with a double jab.
Fertit throws a combination. Gunn tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gunn wants to clinch up but Fertit keeps it at a distance.
Fertit rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gunn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A nice combination there by Fertit.
Gunn shoots for a double leg takedown but Fertit sprawls well. He's pushed Gunn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mike Fertit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Gunn.
Gunn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fertit's waist but Fertit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gunn off to one side.
Fertit could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fertit connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gunn's hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gunn getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Fertit is rocked!
It looks like Mike Fertit has been cut.
Gunn lands with a shot to the body.
Oh Fertit is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Fertit throws a series of punches but Gunn moves out of range.
Gunn is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fertit tries to bum rush Gunn with a series of wild strikes but Gunn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fertit throws a jab but it's blocked by Gunn.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gunn shoots for a takedown but Fertit saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gunn throws an uppercut from hell that sends Fertit clean off his feet! He's out cold! Gunn stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tommy Gunn!
