Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele comes to the cage accompanied by Ironman. Mike Hunt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Hunt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Steele.
Steele throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Steele pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Steele throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hunt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Steele throws a right hand that misses
and Hunt counters with a big head kick but Steele shrugs it off.
Steele thows a left - swing and a miss!
Steele punishes Hunt's body with a nice straight punch.
Steele lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hunt shoots in and drives through. Steele sprawls well.
An inside leg kick from Steele misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunt misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hunt slips a jab from Steele.
Hunt shoots for a double leg takedown but Steele sprawls well. He's pushed Hunt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cedric Steele has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Hunt.
Steele misses with a right hand

and Hunt counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Hunt goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Steele has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hunt but great work by Steele.
Hunt is looking for a sweep.
Steele working away.
Steele advances to mount.

Steele raining down hammerfists from mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunt in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Hunt is wriggling around trying to escape.
Steele unloads with some shots from mount but Hunt bucks and avoids them well.
Hunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steele. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Poor strikes thrown by Steele there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunt is squirming around, avoiding Steele's attempts to control the action.
Steele throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Steele goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hunt is on top in guard.
Steele keeping moving, preventing Hunt from controlling successfully.
Hunt wants to pass the guard but Steele is keeping the position.
Hunt looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Hunt is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Steele has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hunt is looking to defend but Steele has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hunt! Steele pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hunt taps out and this one is all over!
