Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pat Curran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tohino Cerezo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tohino Cerezo!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curran avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cerezo swinging wildly here.
Cerezo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cerezo wants it to stay on the feet.
Curran lands a lovely overhand right.
A right-left combo lands from Cerezo.
Cerezo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Cerezo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Curran avoids it really well and circles away.

Cerezo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That was a close round but I would say that Pat Curran will probably get the nod.

Tohino Cerezo seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Cerezo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cerezo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Curran sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cerezo somewhat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Curran uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cerezo.
Cerezo looks to land a combination but Curran avoids it well.

Cerezo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Curran throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cerezo's waist but Cerezo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Curran off to one side.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Tohino Cerezo.
I think Cerezo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
