Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith is looking to clinch but Donnely is avoiding it.
Donnely slips a jab and a cross from Smith.
Donnely clinches with his opponent.
Smith gets through Donnely's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Smith wants a takedown.
Donnely creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Smith's defenses.
Smith tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Donnely avoids it.
The referee calls for Smith to work.
Smith scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Donnely creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Donnely jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Donnely gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Smith.
Donnely really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Donnely is looking to regain half guard here but Smith keeps moving and retains side control.

Donnely wants to improve his position but Smith is controlling well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Donnely is pressing down on Smith's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Smith engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Donnely swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Smith won't allow Donnely to sweep him here.

Smith lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Donnely trying to keep a closed guard but Smith is proving a slippery customer.
Smith wants to control from the top but Donnely keeps moving.

Smith controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Donnely.
Smith is looking to clinch.

A left lands for Smith.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Donnely throws a wild hook but Smith just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Donnely gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Smith raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phill Smith!
