Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Macku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cherry comes into the arena with Busters Back blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macku tries to move into range but Cherry moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Adam Macku has been cut.
Macku showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cherry.
Macku throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cherry tries for a takedown but Macku sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cherry fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Macku.
A telegraphed right hand from Cherry misses the target.
Macku finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Macku takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cherry checks a leg kick nicely.
Cherry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cherry jabs Macku to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Macku misses with a right hand
and Cherry counters with a nice low kick that buckles Macku's knee momentarily.
Macku drops his hands momentarily and Cherry takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Macku takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cherry takes one on the button.
Macku lands a nice hook to Cherry's body. Cherry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cherry avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cherry is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Macku.
Cherry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Macku manages to avoid it.
Macku thumps Cherry with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cherry fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buster Cherry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Macku fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cherry, pushing him back against the cage.
Macku lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Macku has a couple of punches blocked by Cherry.
Macku digs a right hand into Cherry's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Cherry's gas tank.

Cherry blocking some punches.
Macku misses with a punch to the body.
Cherry is trying to stall.
Cherry has Macku pushed against the cage.
Macku working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Macku lands a right hand.
A short body shot lands from Macku as the two fighters clinch.

Macku breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Macku swings for the body but Cherry moves out of range.
Macku takes one to the side of the head.
Macku ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Adam Macku is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cherry is breathing heavily.
Macku misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Macku lands a jab.
Cherry walks into a straight right hand from Macku.

Cherry misses with a looping left.
Cherry slips under a jab.
The fighters circling - Macku throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Macku is looking to slow Cherry down with leg kicks.
Macku lands with a nice body punch.
Cherry takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Macku lets loose with a powerful body kick. Cherry will feel that in the morning.
A jab from Macku finds it's way through Cherry's defenses.
Macku tries to clinch but Cherry is having none of it.

Macku moves into range and clinches up with Cherry.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Macku creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Macku slows down the pace here.

Macku misses with a short punch on the inside.
Cherry tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Macku struggles to land a body shot inside as Cherry controls his hands.

Macku breaks the clinch.
Cherry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Macku manages to avoid it.
Macku misses with a leg kick.
Cherry blocks a jab.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Macku crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cherry - the referee stops the clock and Macku gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cherry. Macku manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Macku ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Macku swings for the body but Cherry moves out of range.
Macku scores with a sloppy right hand. Cherry should have avoided that one.
A slow jab from Macku misses its intended target.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Macku. That snapped Cherry's head back.
Macku tries to clinch up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Macku. Cherry does a little dance to reset his feet.
Macku is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Cherry had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
A head kick by Macku - that's a beauty! Cherry is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Macku can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
