Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshido Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrell Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrell Hayes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okami connects with a jab.
Okami scores with a nice right hand.
Yoshido Okami seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okami scores with a jab. Hayes acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Okami wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Okami lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Hayes sprawling to the canvas. Okami follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Hayes hang on?

Hayes is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hayes tries to get to full guard but Okami has control of the leg.

Hayes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Okami doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Okami manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hayes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Okami can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hayes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Okami defends well.

Okami drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hayes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Okami has Hayes in his guard.

Okami had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hayes defends it easily.
Hayes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Okami's guard.

Hayes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Okami to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Okami shrugs it off.
Okami is working to get back to half guard.

Hayes is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Okami has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Hayes has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Okami taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Hayes doesn't care though - he's delighted!
