Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Long avoids it really well and circles away.
Steel shoots and misses
and Long counters with a left to the body.
Steel tries for a takedown but Long sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
David Long has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Steel.
Long fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Steel.
Steel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Long as he avoids it easily.
Long scores with a crisp jab that stopped Steel in his tracks.
Long misses with an uppercut. Steel saw that one coming.
Steel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Long's waist but Long gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steel off to one side.
Long throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Steel shoots in but Long avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Steel fails with a takedown attempt.
Long defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Steel.
Steel throws a lazy uppercut
and Long counters with an outside leg kick.
Steel looks gassed!

Long stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Long wants it to stay on the feet.
Steel shoots in looking for a takedown. Long tries to sprawl out of it but Steel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Long manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Long jabs Steel to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Horrible takedown by Steel or perhaps it was just good defense by Long which made him look bad.
Long cracks Steel with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
No luck for Steel with that takedown attempt.

Steel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Long circles away.

Long lands with a shot to the body.
Steel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Long sprawls well. Long wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Steel gets slowly back to his feet.

Long fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Steel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Steel tries to move into range but Long moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Steel is rocked!
Steel shoots in and drives through. Long sprawls well.

Long cracks Steel with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

BOOM! Long lands a beautiful left hook that drops Steel. Steel tries to recover but Long is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Steel lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
