Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wasted Youth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Lang is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Youth misses with a body shot.

Youth decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Youth in particular looking to stall.

Lang is controlling an arm, preventing Youth from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Lang is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Youth is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lang can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Youth cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Youth is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lang has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lang!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Youth is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Youth working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Youth has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lang uses from the top position.

Youth remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Youth throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lang's waist but Lang gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Youth off to one side.

Youth wants the takedown. Lang is fighting it off but Youth persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lang's guard against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Youth is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dave Lang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wasted Youth.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Youth, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
