The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fish lands a jab to Moreira's midsection.
Moreira ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fish missing with a left hand there. Moreira was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Moreira throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Moreira throws a body kick that misses.
Fish throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fish tries to bum rush Moreira with a series of wild strikes but Moreira uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Moreira drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Moreira distracts Fish with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Fish looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moreira is one step ahead there.
Moreira stops Fish from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fish working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Moreira.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moreira in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fish really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moreira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moreira postures up.
Fish bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moreira's guard.
Fish wants to control from the top but Moreira keeps moving.

Fish wants to stand but Moreira has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Moreira is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Fish rolls with it to try and escape but Moreira cranks on the arm and Fish is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
