The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Smith.

Smith drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Smith off! Smith jumps back into Jones's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Senor Jones will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.
Jones pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Smith back to the cage. Jones follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Jones is looking to defend but Smith has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jones! Smith pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jones taps out and this one is all over!
