Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josh Diamond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gasan Ibragimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gasan Ibragimov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diamond closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ibragimov to the mat! Ibragimov manages to get full guard.
Diamond postures up in Ibragimov's guard and throws a big left but Ibragimov blocks it.

Ibragimov is in a horrible position here. Diamond smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Diamond goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ibragimov turns into him and now he's in Diamond 's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diamond lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ibragimov!
Ibragimov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diamond . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Poor strikes thrown by Diamond there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Diamond cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Diamond has hold of Ibragimov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ibragimov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee warns Ibragimov that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's time! Diamond 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Diamond throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ibragimov's waist but Ibragimov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diamond off to one side.

Diamond has an Americana. Ibragimov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Diamond is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Diamond hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
