Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Starbuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jucon Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starbuck shoots in and drives through. Davis sprawls well.
Starbuck shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Davis as he avoids it easily.
Starbuck fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Starbuck. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Starbuck circles away.

Starbuck is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davis is aware though and is defending well.

Davis wants to take his opponent's back but Starbuck doesn't allow it.
Starbuck has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Davis controlling well, preventing Starbuck from escaping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Starbuck is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Davis has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Starbuck has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Davis has got one arm under Starbuck's chin. This could be trouble... Starbuck trying to control the other hand but Davis gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Starbuck has tapped out! The fight is over!
