Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Finnian Liam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Liam.
Liam swats away the attempt to clinch by Sparks.
Sparks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Liam's waist but Liam gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sparks off to one side.
Liam throws a series of punches but Sparks moves out of range.
Sparks tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Liam manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Liam does no damage.
Sparks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Finnian Liam has been cut.
Sparks throws a sloppy head kick and Liam moves out of range easily.
Sparks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Liam circles away quickly and effectively.
Liam tries to bum rush Sparks with a series of wild strikes but Sparks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sparks shoots in looking for a takedown but Liam manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sparks's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Liam throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sparks on the side of the head.
A nice combination there by Sparks.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd cheers as Liam lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sparks doesn't seem phased though.

Sparks fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Liam manages to avoid it.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Liam checks a leg kick.

Sparks tries to pull guard but Liam holds him up against the cage and eventually Sparks drops back down to his feet.
Sparks jumps guard but Liam stands there with Sparks around his waist. Sparks gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sparks tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sparks is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Liam gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Liam connects with a combination that backs up Sparks into the cage. Liam lands a flurry of punches that gets past Sparks's guard. Sparks is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Liam bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
